Did I make a big mistake?
Hey everyone, I'm back after one long year since my network got hacked and I lost my Guild Wars for one whole year. I lost my level 20 Warrior / Everything with a ton of stuff. Now I'm making a new toon that's a Necromancer / Warrior however I'm almost lv 14 but I've noticed I should of went with a monk because it's pretty hard playing a N/W so I'm stuck with a MM for now which I love but it's too hard to go solo and start up my minion army without dieing. I've gotten all the quests done before Yak's and I've been ran to LA to get my scar patterns since I cannot afford to get ran to Drocks and buy some new armor.
So I'm just wondering what's a good way for me to go until I get to the desert and I can change my second class. I've heard about SS and I have that relic for -50 hp so I could make an 11hp Necro or whatever. I don't have any skills but what you earn before Yaks and I can’t even find some new death ones so I guess I need Drocks soon or the desert.
Any help to getting a good start would be great, thanks!
NOTE: I only have Prophecies until I get Factions and Nightfall.

You're probably not going to be using much Warrior stuff at all, as a necro, unless you want to try your hand at playing a meleemancer (fun, but not greatly effective. ^_^)
For my necro, I pretty much used Blood Magic all the way up. Grab Vamp Gaze, Shadow Strike, and Barbed Signet, and that's a so-so offense in conjunction with the henchies for pretty much all of the game up to the desert.

I would go as Bloodmancer if the area you're going to play in lacks fleshie monsters. Other time, I would go as a Minion Master.

Thanks! Right now I got all LA scars on with a blood scar, and I have 190 HP with 50 MP (4 Ticks of Regen). Without adding any points 4 in blood and 3 in soul reaping.
Blood 14
Soul Reaping 7
Curses 2
Life Siphon
Suffering
Parasitic Bond
Insidious Parasite
Vampiric Gaze
Vampiric Touch
Dark Pact
Blood Renewal
I don't have any super skills sadly but that's my build so far.
Thanks again for the replies.

First of all, welcome back to GW.Then I would consider taking Well of Blood (lil bit of healing for the henchies in the front line, and maybe yourself) instead
Have fun

Sorry to hear about your characters and account. 1 whole year, lost. Poor Warrior, died before turning 1.
Anyway, complete desert missions and take the task to change your profession to Monk. N/Mo is for soloing, so don't sweat it if you are currently N/W.
At LV 14, MMing isn't that great, you have little soul reaping with your death magic at max.
Desert quests have Animate Bone Fiend, so don't waste a skill point or a cap for it doing a krytan quest.

cant you go to temple of balth and change your secondary? well I did but then again I'm lvl 20. But still I sould try that. oh and like everyone has just about said really you can come up with builds that are just necro skills like blood or death. Really secondary proffessions aren't really used until harder places in the game like the desert shiverpeaks and fire isles. But untill then you can deffinatly go all necro until then.

Thanks everyone for the replies once again. I'll have to find those other skills because I'm done up to Becons with primary quests and side quests I'm done all of them before Yak's. So far my blood necro is working great with a party and some what on solo.
I'll try going to the temple of balth now and see if I can change to a N/Mo, thanks!
EDIT: I need to ascend before I can change my profession. I guess it's still the same as before when I had my warrior that you needed to ascend in the desert than you can change your secondary.

If you can afford it i'd suggest buying one of the other games. Either would help you as you have LA unlocked you could travel to either without really interupting the story you are playing
Factions
======
You'd be able to pickup max armour without a run and some skills aimed a Level 20s
Nightfall
======
You would get some skills but no max armour. What is good is you'd get heros , including Olias
Neither would require much investment in time

I'm going to give that a try! Thanks, right now I'm lv 17 with the cheapest Drok armor I could buy. Sadly it's hard going from nothing again and starting up, from personal experience playing a Warrior was a lot easier for me. I also got to the Desert! ^_^

honestly, I would just keep MMing it up. Bring animate bone horror, bone fiend, veratas sacrifice, blood of the master and that should be good. Fill the other slots with whatever self heals you can use with blood, possibly shadow strike, vamp gaze, barbed sig, res sig.
gg, have fun!
